It's easy to update your direct deposit inside the WaFd app or in online banking.

In the app:

  1. Log in and tap on the account you want your direct deposit to go into
  2. Tap the green Direct Deposit icon at the top of the screen
  3. Follow the prompts and submit
  4. You are all set! Your direct deposit should go into the account you selected within one to two payroll cycles

Inside online banking:

  1. Log in and click on the Direct Deposit widget next to your list of accounts
    1. If you don't see the widget, click on the account you want your direct deposit to go into and then click Direct Deposit from the Actions menu on the right
  2. Follow the prompts and submit
  3. Good to go! Your direct deposit should go into the account you selected within one to two payroll cycles
