Mobile Photo Deposit

Skip your visit to the bank and deposit a check using your smart phone and our mobile app. 

  1. Select Mobile Deposit.
  2. Select New Deposit.
  3. Select the account you'd like to deposit the check into and enter amount of the check.
  4. Snap photos of the front and back of the check.
  5. Submit your deposit.

Note that the first $225 of deposited funds will be available immediately. Funds above $225 will become available as described in our Funds Availability Disclosure. Be sure to keep your check for 14 days.

Bill Pay

We offer convenient online bill payment through CheckFree. Login to online or mobile banking to get started.

You can pick the date that your payment's due (or when you'd like it to arrive), and CheckFree will estimate arrival time and send the funds so that they arrive to your payee by the due date. We will send your ​payment electronically or via mailed check*, depending on your account balance and your vendor's payment receiving capabilities.

  • Pay any bill -- your mortgage, credit card, phone bill and more.
  • Set up an automatic monthly payment to another account.
  • Save stamps and know your bills will be paid safely and conveniently.
*Please note, if your payment is sent via mailed check, then the date on the check will be the date that you selected as the due date or arrival date. A copy of the CheckFree Terms of Service can be found within online banking, under the "Settings" screen.

View and pay your bills in one place with eBills.

As you begin paying your bills with CheckFree's Bill Pay, you'll likely discover that many of your bills may be eligible for eBills. With eBills your bill will arrive in your online CheckFree Bill Pay screen, instead of arriving in your mailbox. From there, you can elect to have them paid, saving you time and money on postage. ​

How do I sign up for eBills? Start by enrolling and using our CheckFree Bill Pay service. After you begin paying bills using Bill Pay, we'll send you an email when we find a bill that's eligible for eBills. From there, you can choose to sign up for eBills from that vendor and stop receiving your paper bills.

  • Access deposit, withdrawal, balance and check clearing information for your WaFd Bank accounts 24 hours a day.
  • Transfer money between your WaFd Bank checking and savings accounts.
  • Access WaFd Bank loan information and make loan payments via an internal transfer.
