How to Set Up Your Digital Wallet
Open an account
Whether you need a personal checking account or to apply for a credit card, you can do so online in just minutes.
Get your debit or credit card
When you sign up for a personal checking account or apply for a credit card, you will receive your physical card in the mail. When you open a WaFd checking account, you'll receive a digital debit card the same day for instant access to your funds.
Download a digital wallet
WaFd Bank's digital debit cards and credit cards can be used through Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Wallet.
Add your card to your digital wallet
Add your card's number and security code to your digital wallet app. You can also open Apple Wallet, tap the + symbol, choose Debit or Credit Card, and tap your physical card to your phone to instantly add it to your wallet. Easy! The tap to add feature will be made available for Google and Samsung digital wallets in the future by Visa®.
